Settings used
- Threshold: -24 dB
- Knee: 30 dB
- Ratio: 12:1
- Attack: 3 ms
- Release: 250 ms
Add the effect from FX → Audio → Compressor. Lower the Threshold to catch more of the signal, and raise the Ratio for a more aggressive squeeze — then listen back to back with the effect toggled on and off to hear how much more even the level sits.
