3-Way Color Grading, Explained Simply
Push the shadows toward one color and the highlights toward another, and you've built the basis of most cinematic color grades — no jargon required. Color Balance gives you separate red, green and blue sliders for shadows, midtones and highlights, so each tonal range can be pushed independently.

- Shadow Blue Balance: +30
- Highlight Red Balance: +30
Add the effect from FX → Color Correction → Color Balance. Cooling the shadows while warming the highlights (as above) is the classic teal-and-orange move — push the opposite way for a colder, more desaturated look.
